Medical Devices being one of the important sectors with high
potential for import substitute and exports, MSMEs in India have been able to
achieve great success in creating breakthrough products.
In order to promote Design in Medical Devices Sector in
Gujarat, National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad has developed “Design Clinic
Scheme” which has been successful in generating awareness in order to percolate
design thinking which helps for Quality Upgradation of their products,
processes, operations, services and business through Design Intervention.
The objective is to bring MSME clusters and design expertise
to a common platform for solutions on real time design problems.

IV Flow Regulator
Qosina offers an IV Flow Regulator (Part #21293) with an
easy-to-turn ridged dial that facilitates quick and accurate flow rate
adjustment. Latex-free and DEHP-free, the ivory ABS regulator features a clear
silicone gasket. The clearly marked blue flow indicators (5 to 250 ml/hour)
ensure a more reliable infusion rate than other gravity driven components. It is
designed for use with 0.118 inch (3 mm) ID x 0.161 inch (4.1 mm) OD tubing. The
microchannel distribution makes delivery precise at low flow rates and works
with various fluids. IV Flow Regulator (Part #21293) is compatible with EtO or
gamma sterilization. Qosina carries a selection of flow control
