India Allocates Rs 5,000 Crore to Pharma-MedTech Research and Innovation

New Delhi: The Ministry of Finance announced the Promotion of Research and Innovation in Pharma-MedTech (PRIP) scheme to advance research and innovation in the pharmaceutical and medical-technology sector.

In a post on X, the ministry described PRIP as a long-term scheme intended to strengthen pharmaceutical infrastructure and support research in six moonshot areas.
