New Delhi To Host HOSPIMedica India 2007
HOSPIMedica India 2007, the 13th international exhibition and
conference on diagnostics, medical equipment and technology, will be held from
9th to 11th March 2007, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Messe Düsseldorf and its
Indian subsidiary CIDEX Trade Fairs Pvt. Ltd. are organizing this show, based on
the concept of the world's largest fair on medical equipment `Medica' in
Düsseldorf, Germany.
After a remarkable success of HOSPIMedica India 2006 in Mumbai
with 90 exhibitors from 13 countries and 2910 business visitors from 24
countries, it has laid down a new benchmark for all medical shows in India.
HOSPIMedica India 2007 will cover areas like medical equipment,
hospital supplies, surgical items, medical disposables, rehabilitation aids,
diagnostics, hospital furniture, radiology and imaging equipment, physiotherapy
equipment, critical care/emergency equipment, disinfections and waste management
systems, medical software, medical publications.
The fair is supported by Spectaris - German Industry Association for optical
medical and mechatronical technologies and Asia Invest (Europe Aid Co-operation
Office) as supporting partners. Fortis and Global Hospitals which are rated as
India's leading hospitals are also supporting the show.
Like the previous shows the fair promises a large national and
international presence from Germany, China, Korea, Austria and Malaysia. A two
days parallel conference will be conducted by Modern Medicare -a monthly B2B
(Business to Business) magazine for the healthcare equipment and technology
industry. The conference will be focusing on the theme `hospital management and
latest technology in the healthcare sector'.
